Greenhouse Design
Our production uses semi-closed Venlo greenhouses with strong insect screening and ventilation, or retractable-roof systems paired with deep-water culture. These architectures are proven for hot, humid climates and can be built to hurricane-resilient standards demonstrated by regional operators.
With these methods, we keep pesticide use low while maintaining crop quality and plant health.
Energy & Resources
Where feasible, Plenty Planty integrates renewable energy such as solar photovoltaic systems and storage to power greenhouse operations, ventilation, and packhouse activities. This approach reduces operating costs and improves resilience in a resource-limited island environment.
